English Club for Teachers

I started a new English club a few weeks ago...this one just for English teachers. It is slowly picking up steam and more members are joining us each week. The teachers not only get the chance to improve their English, but all of us share ideas on teaching. It's really very enjoyable. I am learning more about the Ukrainian teaching system, sharing American ideals, and making friends too.

Books for Novomoskovsk

In response to a need for English literature books in our towns' youth library, I have written and submitted a Partnership Grant which is now on the Peace Corps website. A partnership grant asks for small donations from individuals and companys. I am asking for a total of $808 which would allow the library to purchase new English books. I would be so greatful if any of my readers could donate a small gift. If times are hard still, and from what I heard everyone is still struggling, perhaps instead you would be willing to get the word out for me. Perhaps you could link the site to your Facebook friends, put a link on your blog or perhaps on your websites. Thank you!  Anything would be appreciated!
