Opening of the "Cultural Book Exchange"

Last night's opening went extremely well.  Many came to see the books and listen to me talk about our project.  The best part of the evening, however, was meeting two complete strangers who somehow felt like close friends. Daniela (my Romanian counterpart) has a close friend (a former teacher) who now lives here in New England with her daughter. Both came to the reception and it was very emotional. They have not seen her for many years, and seeing her work in the books was quite overwhelming.  They are like family and they miss her very much.
